CBDV or Cannabidivarin is a cannabinoid and a homolog of CBD, meaning that they are similar in molecular structure. Both are non-intoxicating, however, have different properties as CBDV has a propyl chain in lieu of pentyl chain.
One thing to note about CBDV is that it works with the body’s TRP ion channel, specifically the TRPV1, which act like a series of sensors throughout the body (whereas CBD works with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Studies are showing great promise on understanding more about CBDV and its advantages.
